I finally settled into the apartment in Cannes. Nothing beats the feeling of waking up knowing you're in Côte d'Azur with the beach five minutes away. I never go to the beach in Texas but here I spent three hours in the sun with a successful tan to go along with it. We spent the rest of the day walking along the Croisette and taking pitures by the harbor. Tomorrow is Bastille Day which we'll spend by the film festival building. Then Monday is my first day at French school. I don't know a word of the language but hopefully by the end of the two weeks I'll at least be able to order my own ice cream. Hopefully.
